We wanted to spend some time this Wednesday praying for the inauguration and civil unrest. Specifically, these things:

• A peaceful transition of power on inauguration day in the United States

• The people of God to repent of political idolatry and nationalism and instead represent God’s character as agents of Christ’s peace.

• Healing across political and ethnic divides in ways that lead to repair and justice for the vulnerable and marginalized in our cities.
