Meet our Elders

KENJI ADACHI

Kenji moved from Osaka, Japan at the age of 6 and grew up in Greensboro, NC, a historic civil rights city. He identifies with both “Green Tea” and “Sweet Tea” and has lived a cross-culture life. By God’s grace, Jesus saved him from his sins and from himself at the age of 16 and called him to ministry in college while involved with Cru, a campus ministry, at NC State. However, he spent the next five years in the corporate world to honor his parents before attending seminary. Upon receiving his Masters in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, his family moved to Fairfax, VA to pastor in a multicultural church in the Washington DC metro. Kenji has pastored for over 16 years and started All Peoples Community Church in September 2016.

Kenji is married to Christine, his college sweetheart and they have three children, Charis, Alana, and Derek. They have a multicultural family, as Christine's parents are German immigrants and she grew up speaking German in her home. He serves on the board for Mustard Seed Network that exists to plant churches in urban Japan. Kenji is a sports junkie (Lakers fan way before Lebron), an apostle for the Dallas Cowboys, a lover of God glorifying food, and has the metabolism of a humming bird.

GREG GIBBS

Greg feels truly blessed to serve as an Elder, co-leader of the Fairfax – Tysons Connect Group and co-leader of the Prayer Team at APCC.  Greg and his family have been attending APCC since May 2016.

Born in High Point, NC, Greg has lived in Northern Virginia since 1990.  He and his wife Wendy, who was born and grew up in the Philippines, have been married since 1992.  They reside with their son Joshua and daughter Kaylie in Great Falls. Greg works as an engineer at the U.S. Agency for Global Media. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, Greg enjoys playing/watching sports and serving at APCC.

Greg is grateful that Jesus gave His life willingly so that we can be forgiven and reconciled to the Father through a personal relationship with Him.  Greg has a passion for the gospel and the way that Jesus continues to redeem and restore the broken areas of our lives.  He delights in seeing others grow and mature in their relationship with Jesus and learn to find their identity in Him.

TIM LO

Tim was born and raised in upstate New York in the beautiful Hudson Valley. His parents took him and his sister to church throughout their childhood. Through the Lord's amazing grace, Tim trusted Christ and began walking with him when he was a freshman in high school. Tim graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and his first job with the federal government brought him to the DC area where he has resided for almost 20 years. He has a long career in management consulting but most recently pursued his passion in entrepreneurship and co-founded a career coaching company.

Tim and his wife Sarah have been married for 10 years and have two daughters Madeline (7) and Samantha (3). They have been a part of All Peoples since the beginning in January 2016. Tim loves running and walking at Burke Lake, smoking meats, playing ice hockey, and watching the Pittsburgh Penguins (dominate the Washington Capitals).

TYLER WILSON

Tyler grew up in a small Southeast Texas town called Lumberton, TX. He had a typical Texas upbringing, being correctly taught the glories of the Dallas Cowboys, the University of Texas, and Whataburger. In 2011, he began a decade of living in the great state of Tennessee, where he attended Tennessee Tech University to play baseball. Shortly after arriving in Tennessee, Tyler realized that true life and joy are only found in Jesus Christ, and began walking with Jesus in September of 2011. Tyler was very involved in his college ministry, Campus Outreach, and worked for them for a season after college. Around this time, Tyler married his best friend Erin, and they moved to Erin’s hometown of Memphis, TN. In Memphis, Tyler worked for a multicultural church called Fellowship Memphis. At Fellowship, Tyler became convinced that God was calling him to pastor in a multicultural context where all the nations of the world live. Tyler holds a Masters degree in Church Ministries from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and Erin have two little children, Ellie Grace and Tucker, and they are thrilled to be serving in Fairfax at All Peoples, living, working, and raising their family in an area where all the nations of the world are represented.

TONGIL LEE

Tongil is married to Corinne and father to Josiah. He serves as an Elder, co-leader of the Fairfax Towne Center Connect Group, and worship leader at All Peoples. Tongil joined All Peoples since the very beginning in January 2016 when the church gathered at Pastor Kenji’s house.

Born in Seoul, Korea, and immigrating to the US in 7th grade, Tongil has been living in Northern Virginia since 1998. Tongil moved into the Carriage Park community in 2016 to live and serve amongst the neighbors around Eagle View Elementary School where the church meets every Sunday. Tongil’s testimony is a story of overcoming financial, cultural, and relational challenges through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Tongil works as a risk management professional in the financial services industry and runs a career coaching business. Tongil enjoys reading, running, and connecting with All Peoples family over coffee.

Meet our Deacons

DEDE GOLDMAN

TIMOTHY PROBUS

Timothy was born and raised in the Northern Virginia area. He was blessed to be raised in a large family by Christian parents and gave his life to Christ at an early age. Unfortunately, he spent several years after college living in South Carolina apart from fellowship with Christ. By God’s grace and mercy, he recommitted his life to Christ and desires to use his talents to serve Christ and the church. He began attending All Peoples Community Church in 2019 shortly after returning to Northern Virginia.

Having been instilled with a spirit of service from a young age, Timothy loves to serve the church in whatever way possible. He currently leads the Setup Ministry and serves as a co-leader of the Fair Lakes Connect Group and a co-leader of the Men’s Ministry. He enjoys reading, playing games, and playing volleyball.
