Vision of Rooted Youth Ministry

Our vision is to establish a fun, welcoming community in which youth are excited to grow in Christ and to proclaim the Gospel to their neighbor.

Mission

Our mission is to lead youth to glorify God by equipping them with lifelong habits to help them mature as disciples of Jesus and to grow their love for God and for all peoples.

Overview

Rooted is APCC's ministry for 6th-8th grade students. We focus on creating bonds among these youth as it is so important for them to have strong peer friendships within the church at this age. We also focus on teaching the important doctrines of the faith and modeling spiritual habits like Bible reading and prayer. Rooted meets most Friday nights throughout the school year. A typical Friday night agenda includes an icebreaker, prayer time, teaching, games and snacks. We also have some social events scattered throughout the year.
