2 Year Resident and Summer Internship Application
We love giving young aspiring leaders opportunities to serve and grow in their calling, character, chemistry, and competence. From the first year of our church’s existence, we’ve had summer interns come to learn and serve alongside of our staff and church family in running summer camps, outreaches, and block parties; serving on the worship team and in the children’s ministry, helping logistics, graphic design, and even teaching and preaching (for pastoral residents). What makes APCC’s internship and residency unique is not only helping you grow in your biblical and theological IQ and emotional EQ, but in your Cultural IQ to better engage a diverse metropolitan area like Washington, D.C.
The residency will prepare you for vocational ministry and help you discern what area of focus and grow as a servant-leader in the context of a church. You can also begin or continue in seminary education online or at a seminary in the DC metro.
Internships are at least 2 months (June through July) and are paid. Our residency is a 2 year program where you can work P/T at the church or outside the church or raise support.
